How to Cancel Peacock in 2026

Where you cancel Peacock depends on who bills you. Here are the verified steps for the web, iPhone, Android, Amazon, Roku, and cable or phone providers, plus what happens after you cancel and when it makes sense to do it.

Cancelling Peacock takes one button if you pay Peacock directly. It gets confusing when someone else bills you, because Peacock says it doesn't have the ability to cancel a plan that Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, or your cable company bills for. So the first job is working out who sends you the bill.

Start Here: Who Bills You for Peacock?

Sign in to your Peacock account and open the Subscriptions tab. Peacock's help center says your method of payment is listed in the Payment Method section there. If you see your own card or PayPal, you pay Peacock directly and the web steps below are all you need.

If you don't see a Cancel All Subscriptions option, Peacock says you may have a subscription through a third party. Your bank statement is the quickest tiebreaker: the charge will name Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, or your provider.

How to Cancel Peacock on the Web

Steps verified September 2026 against Peacock's cancellation help article.

Go to your account. Open peacocktv.com/account/plans in a browser and sign in.
Select Cancel All Subscriptions. This cancels your base plan (Select, Premium, or Premium Plus) and any add-ons, such as a regional sports network or Starz.
Follow the steps and confirm. You'll see a confirmation message on screen.
Check your email. Peacock sends a confirmation email, though it says that can take a few hours.

Only want to drop an add-on and keep the base plan? Select the add-on on the Subscriptions tab and choose Remove Add-On instead. If you can't sign in at all, Peacock's cancellation article links to a chat option that can cancel for you.

How to Cancel Peacock on iPhone or iPad

If you subscribed inside the Peacock app and paid through Apple, Apple holds the subscription. Apple's steps: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Peacock, then tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll to find the button. If there's no Cancel button, or you see an expiration message in red, Apple says the subscription is already cancelled. Apple's page also covers Mac, Windows, and cancelling on the web at account.apple.com.

How to Cancel Peacock on Android

If Google Play bills you, open Subscriptions in the Google Play app on your Android device, select Peacock, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the instructions. Google notes that uninstalling the app doesn't cancel anything, and that after you cancel you can still use the subscription for the time you've already paid. Make sure you're signed in to the Google account that pays for it.

How to Cancel Peacock Through Amazon, Roku, or Your Provider

Amazon Prime Video

Amazon sells Peacock Premium Plus as a Prime Video add-on. To cancel it, Amazon's Prime Video help says to go to Account & Settings, select Subscriptions, find the add-on, and select Unsubscribe (it may say withdraw) and confirm. Your end date shows on the confirmation screen, and you can reverse the cancellation until then. If the charge comes from the Amazon Appstore instead, which is typical when you signed up on a Fire TV, the subscription lives at amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions.

Roku

If Roku bills you, Roku's help page says to go to my.roku.com/subscriptions, select Peacock under Active subscriptions, choose Manage subscription, then Turn off auto-renew. On the Roku itself, highlight the Peacock app, press the Star button on your remote, and choose Manage subscription. Roku says you keep access until your billing cycle ends.

Cable, Satellite, and Phone Providers

Peacock's cancellation article lists DIRECTV (satellite and Stream), Spectrum, Verizon, Xfinity, and Xumo TV among the partners that can bill for it, with a link to each one's help page. If Peacock came included with another service or product, Peacock says you have to contact that company. Before you do, check whether dropping it actually lowers your bill. What Happens After You Cancel Peacock

Verified September 2026 against Peacock's help center and its Terms of Service (updated December 3, 2025).

You keep watching until the paid term ends. Peacock says your plan won't renew at the end of its current subscription term, and that you keep Premium content until the end of your billing cycle.
Cancel at least a day early. Peacock's Terms say you must cancel no later than the day before your next billing date to avoid the next charge.
Trials and promotions are the exception. The Terms say that if you're on a free trial or promotion, cancellation may take effect immediately. If you're on a deal, cancel near its end, not the day you sign up.
No refunds for the rest of the month. Peacock says charges are generally non-refundable and that no refunds or credits are issued when you cancel, unless required by law.
Add-ons follow the base plan, mostly. Cancelling your plan sets add-ons to auto-cancel. The Terms add that an add-on with a different billing date can still bill until your base plan's term expires unless you cancel it separately.
Your account stays. After paid access ends, Peacock's help center says you'll be able to watch a limited amount of content for free and can upgrade again from your account anytime. Its cancellation pages don't say how long it keeps your watch history, so don't count on a specific window.

One more wrinkle: if you want to move your subscription to a different biller, Peacock says to cancel the existing one and wait until it fully lapses before activating the new one.

Can You Pause Peacock Instead?

Not with a built-in button, as far as Peacock's own pages show. Its cancellation article and Terms of Service describe cancelling, not pausing, and we didn't find a pause option in its help center as of September 2026. When to Cancel Peacock, and When to Come Back

The best time to cancel is right after you finish what you're watching. Because you keep access to the end of the term you've paid for, cancelling the day you finish doesn't cost you a single paid day. Then come back when the next thing you want actually arrives, not a month early "just in case."
