How to Cancel Paramount+ in 2026
Paramount+ can be billed from almost anywhere: the web, iPhone, Android, Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Prime Video, or a partner like Walmart+. Here's how to cancel on each, verified against Paramount+'s own help center, and when it makes sense to.
Paramount+ spells out one rule plainly: cancel where you signed up. Its help center says that if you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, or Roku, you have to go back to that platform to cancel. If Paramount+ came through a partner such as T-Mobile, Verizon, or Walmart+, you manage it there. Pick your route below.
How to Cancel Paramount+ on the Web
Steps verified September 2026 against Paramount+'s cancellation help article.
Use these steps if you signed up at paramountplus.com, on a smart TV (LG, Vizio, or Samsung), or on a game console (Xbox, PS4, or PS5). Paramount+ says all of those are cancelled on the web.
- Go to paramountplus.com and click your username in the upper right corner.
- Click Account.
- Scroll down and click Cancel subscription, then follow the prompts to finish.
If you can't sign in, Paramount+ says to go to its Help Center homepage and click the blue chat bubble at the bottom of the screen to reach an agent.
How to Cancel Paramount+ on iPhone or iPad
If Apple bills you, open the Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Paramount+, then tap Cancel Subscription and Confirm. If you don't see Cancel Subscription, Paramount+ and Apple both say the subscription is already cancelled and won't renew.
Apple TV and Apple TV Channels
On an Apple TV (4th generation and later), open Settings, select Users & Accounts and then your account, select Subscriptions, choose Paramount+, and select Cancel Subscription. Paramount+ notes you can only edit subscriptions for apps installed on that Apple TV. If you subscribed through Apple TV Channels, the path is Settings, Users and Accounts, your name, Subscriptions, then Paramount+, and you follow the onscreen instructions.
How to Cancel Paramount+ on Android
If Google Play bills you, you need a phone or computer, not the TV. Go to g.co/play/subscriptions, select Paramount+, select Cancel subscription, and follow the instructions. Paramount+ warns that uninstalling the app on an Android TV won't cancel your subscription, and Google says you keep using it for the time you've already paid.
How to Cancel Paramount+ Through Fire TV, Roku, Prime Video, or a Partner
Fire TV and Amazon Appstore
Go to amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions and sign in with your Amazon account. Next to the Paramount+ subscription, select Actions, then select Cancel your subscription.
Roku
From the Roku home screen, highlight the Paramount+ channel, press the Star (*) button on your remote, select Manage Subscription, and choose Cancel Subscription. Roku's own help page also lets you do it on the web at my.roku.com/subscriptions by turning off auto-renew, and says you keep access until your billing cycle ends.
Prime Video Channels
Paramount+ says to go to Account & Settings, select Your subscriptions from the top menu, find the Paramount+ channel, and select Unsubscribe and confirm. Amazon adds that your end date shows on the confirmation screen and you can reverse the cancellation until then.
T-Mobile, Verizon, Walmart+, and Other Partners
If Paramount+ came through a partner, Paramount+ says you need to return to that partner to manage it. When it's part of a membership or phone plan you'd keep anyway, cancelling Paramount+ may not lower your bill at all. It's worth checking before you spend time on it, and streaming bundles vs. rotating walks through that math.
What Happens After You Cancel Paramount+
Verified September 2026 against the Paramount+ Terms of Use (dated September 15, 2026) and Paramount+'s help center. These terms cover subscriptions billed by Paramount+ directly; a third-party biller's own terms apply to theirs.
- You keep watching until your billing period ends. The Terms say you can continue to use your subscription until cancellation takes effect, which is the end of your current billing period, including when a promotional offer applies.
- Free trials end at the end of the trial. Cancel during a trial and it takes effect when the trial period ends.
- No refunds for what you've paid. The Terms say you won't be refunded for fees already paid, apart from certain circumstances where the law entitles you to one.
- Downloads stop working. The Terms say downloads automatically expire if you cancel.
- Add-ons may end with it. If your subscription has add-ons, access to them may end when the subscription expires.
- Gift card credit stays put. Unused gift card credit remains on your account for a future subscription on the website with the same account, unless you delete the account.
Coming back is simple. Paramount+ says you can resubscribe anytime: sign in with the email and password you originally used, choose a plan, and select Start Paramount+. Its help center doesn't say how long it keeps profiles or watch history after you cancel, so we won't guess.
Can You Pause Paramount+?
Paramount+'s cancellation article and its Terms of Use, as of September 2026, describe cancelling and resubscribing, not a pause. We didn't find a pause option in its help center.
