Short version: we don't sell your personal information, and we never share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This page tells you how to switch off the advertising measurement we do use.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run third-party ad or tracking technology inside the app — nothing about your plan, your watchlist, your budget, or what you pause is sent to an advertising platform, ever.
When we are running an advertising campaign, this marketing site and our sign-up page may load measurement tags from Google and Meta. They record that a visit or a sign-up came from an ad, so we can tell which ads work. Where a sign-up is reported, your email address is hashed (SHA-256) before it is sent. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
When no campaign is configured, no third-party tag loads at all. You can confirm that by viewing this page's source.
1. Global Privacy Control — the easiest way, and it covers every site. If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we do not load the advertising tags at all. Nothing is set and no request is made. Firefox, Brave and DuckDuckGo can send GPC natively; Chrome, Edge and Safari need an extension such as Privacy Badger. See globalprivacycontrol.org.
2. Opt out on this device. Use the button below. It records your choice in this browser's local storage and stops the tags loading here, on this device and browser, until you clear your site data.
You can also email support@joinintermission.com to ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data. We may need to verify your request, and we aim to respond within 45 days.
